Brora Free Wifi

BaDAG wants to let you know that our Brora Free Wifi service will conclude at the end of March 2019.

The Wifi network has been a pilot project in a challenging environment and proved to be a useful asset to more than 25,000 users from all over the UK during the period it has been operating.

The network has had to deal with technical challenges, but especially has proved useful in the visitor season and has bridged the period from when Brora was a “not-spot” for mobile and internet reception, to the present time when mobile and internet are much more readily accessed via 4G.

BaDAG appreciates the financial support of Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the local businesses which have hosted equipment in providing this service to our area.

A copy of our current Community Plan, for 2016-2019, can be found here. Residents and visitors alike are warmily invited to provide BaDAG Board members with feedback and suggestions.

BaDAG's 2018 AGM was held on Monday 1st October at 7pm in the Scout & Guide Hall, Gower Street, Brora. The next AGM will be held in October 2019. BaDAG Board meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of every month in the Brora Scount and Guide Hall at 7pm. Members of the public are walmly welcomed to attend.
